Moments in LIFE ..

Venue: Prakash café 1^st floor (in fact the stairs)

State of mind: SHOCKED !!!!!!!!!

Reason: Seeing the people I love the most waiting for me to enter into the hall.

You guys must be confused … why should one be shocked to see their family and friends. Well it was my SURPRISE BIRTHDAY PARTY !!!

Now again, why the hell should this girl be shocked when it is actually a SURPRISE party ???

That’s exactly what my friends especially shruthi was thinking or rather yelling ;) when I actually started running away from my own surprise party :P

Well that’s the reaction you will get from me when you throw a BIG surprise like that :D.

According to me these things happen only in serials and movies.. not in real life :)

I never expected in my wildest dreams that my whole loving family, dearest friends and also waiters from prakash café :P would have gathered to yell SURPISEEEEEEEEE ;)

So finally I did enter the party hall still in a shock now mellowing down to surprise :P but fulllll of happiness. It was AMAZINGLY decorated. The best part was a collage of my childhood fotos. It brought back the wonderful memories of pure innocence and joy. Thanks a lottttttttt to my amazing friends who were toiling there from afternoon to set up the stage and deco (even though they were really really hungry :P ). Special mention to my friend archana who was present all through, though she had an accident the previous day and was burning with a fever of 104. Thank u soooo much re...But I still will not stop scolding you for not taking rest :P.

And yes there was a cake cutting ceremony and the cake being my fav, litchie cake … mmmm yummmyyy :) . Half the cake was spent smearing the face and hair .. as usual ;). All of us were made to wear very cute little party hats and everyone looked their best with the hats on :P. Later on I was showered with very thoughtful and beautiful gifts.

Then started our chitter chatter … me scolding everyone for not telling me anything :P.

This was a one whole week operation. The agents involved were extremely intelligent and did not give ONE SINGLE clue to me. They were very well trained in covering their tracks J. I must say my family are born actors especially my aunt who very cleverly handled a situation where in the whole idea would have flopped thanks to my neighbor. Ok Ok now I don’t want to hear anyone saying me that – you were so dumb ki you just did not figure it out .. hellooo that is soooo NOT the case !!!

Back to my rocking party .. My cousin Kiran and my friend Arun provided us with fabulous entertainment by their amazing singing skills. All of us had a blast. But all wonderful things had to come to an end and yeah I made history by giving the most pathetic vote of thanks. I was soooo happy ki I didn’t have words to describe my emotions.

So here I am trying to make an effort to actually convey my HEARTFELT thanks –

Thanks a MILLION guys for making it one of the BEST moments of my life:). I am the luckiest to have such truly amazing friends. It is going to the most unforgettable birthday of my life. Thanks a lotttt to all my uncles, aunts, granny, cousins and chiltu pultus for making it a grand success.

Last but never ever the least, infact they are THE MOST important part of my life, infact more than my life… my amma, babba and my chultu chelli. I am not going to thank you guys because thanks is still not enough for giving me many of my best moments in life.. something which I can think of when I am 70 (hope I actually live till then ;) ) and say wow I had a wonderful life :). I just LOVE YOU guys… more than anything else in this world. Thank you god for giving me such a wonderful family and awesome friends :)). You guys ROCK !!

ps : The surpise party need not be only for major milestones like silver jubilee… it can be done every year too :P
