Movies..

Thanks to consecutive long weekends caught with some interesting movies.. Bucket List, Sisterhood of traveling pants and before sunrise.

Sisterhood of traveling pants - This soooo reminded me of my coll days. Friends were the most important things. We used to discuss about everything and anything under the sun, each and every class and after :) . Shared our aspirations, fears, weird ideas, funny goofy and stupid stuff :D . Also reminds me of the endless talks I have with my friends now in CCD ..

I initially thought it would be a movie about these giggling teenage girls and would revolve around their crushes/BFs/makeup/fashion etc etc... But the movie is completely different from what I thought. Talks about family ties, how strangers can affect your life in a way you can't even imagine.But yeah let me warn you, it is a total chick flick :P

Before Sunrise - Ok let me tell you first, the ONLY reason I thought I will watch this movie was because of the hero. He is choooooooo cute !!! First of all this is supposed to be a fultu romantic movie and people who know me do know how much I LOVE these kinda movies :P (for people who don't know, the above sentence is dripping with sarcasm ;) )

Was really surprised when I saw that I really liked the movie. Though the plot is simple the movie is really complex. It just about two strangers meeting in a train and who spend a day together just talking . Well for the most part of the movie :P

This movie shows how important conversation is in a relationship. Especially intelligent, interesting, intriguing conversation . There is a natural flow to the movie and you can connect to it though the situation is extremely rare to happen with you . Come one how many people will get off with some stranger from the train and agree to spend the day with him. But on second thought if I do get such a guy as the hero in the movie I might :P

Bucket List - Was a slap on the face for me ... There is sooooooooooo much to see and do in life and here I am being a boring software engineer :P . Acting by Jack Nicholson and Morgan freeman is AMAZING !! The movie kinda tells to actually LIVE your life . There are soooo many important things in life which we take for granted and forget to even thank god that these things are part of our life and even acknowledge it sometimes, may be.
Ok ok enough of philosophical talk .. Off i go to prepare my own bucket list ;)

Someone said .. "Change is the only constant thing in life"

Big picture - yeah things are changing .. some for the good and some not so good.
Cut to my life - I am fed up with routine. Yearning for a change in life. Something exciting .. something new. Many a times when I talk to friends we crib about our boring lives :) .

Everytime I meet different set of friends we make plans but things never materialize. May be someone cursed us .. wonder how the jinx can be broken ;) or is it we have become old and are busy with "important things" in life ..

Someone also said - "Very often a change of self is needed more than a change of scene."
I need to find out what change I need to see ...
what can I do to bring about this change ...
Don't stop if one thing doesn't work out go to the next one ..
Most of all stop being lazy :P
So i guess it is finally upon me to go n bring about the change. Lets see how it goes :D
